Welcome to the Minister’s page! This page is here just to provide a link to various articles or comments which I intend to make available from time to time.

To briefly introduce myself, I come from Grimsay on the Island of North Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland. I was converted in 1983, at 18 years of age, and after studying Philosophy and Medieval History in Glasgow University, I entered the Free Church of Scotland College in 1987 and graduated from there in 1990. I became Minister of Scalpay Free Church where I served from 1991-1993. I went from there to Toronto Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Canada (1993-1996), to Stornoway Free Church (1996-2001) and to Dowanvale Free Church in 2001. I am married to Anna, from Point in the Isle of Lewis, and we have five children: Donald, Margaret, Allyson, Kenneth and Alexander.
